Assam Mukhyamantri Sva Niyojan Yojana 2023

Himanta Biswa, the Chief Minister of Assam, has initiated the Sva-Niyojan Yojana to assist small businesses in the state in getting started. Under this program, the government will provide financial support of Rs 2 lakh to entrepreneurs to facilitate the establishment of their businesses. This initiative aims to include 1 lakh entrepreneurs in the state over a period of three years. Beneficiaries of the program will receive installment payments from the Assam government as seed capital investment. Once the funds are deposited into the beneficiary’s bank account, they can choose the business of their preference.

Assam Mukhyamantri Sva Niyojan Yojana 2023 Budget

The state government has set aside Rs 1000 crore for the ongoing fiscal year 2023-24 and Rs 5000 crore for the subsequent three years to fund the Mukhya Mantri Sva-Niyojan Yojana. Through this scheme, the state government will provide beneficiaries with seed capital investments in the form of monthly installments.

Objectives of the Assam Mukhyamantri Sva Niyojan Yojana

1. To assist new and young entrepreneurs in initiating small enterprises.
2. To provide a one-time seed capital of Rs. 2 lakh to 2 lakh young entrepreneurs.
3. To disburse the seed capital in installments over a period of 3 years.
4. To promote self-employment opportunities in the state of Assam.

Benefits of the Assam Mukhyamantri Sva Niyojan Yojana

1. Young entrepreneurs will receive seed capital from the Government to initiate their businesses or enterprises.
2. A total of 2 lakh entrepreneurs will be eligible to receive seed capital from the Government to start their businesses.
3. The Government of Assam will provide Rs. 2 lakh to entrepreneurs over a period of 3 years.
